Dario Vitale Leaves Versace: A New Chapter for the Milanese House

Just when we thought that the wave of artistic director shake-ups had finally come to an end and that the fashion world was settling into a period of stability, December 4, 2025 proved us wrong. Dario Vitale is stepping down from his role as artistic director, leaving everyone wondering who will now pull the strings at the iconic Italian house.


Last September, Dario Vitale unveiled his very first collection during a highly anticipated show, widely talked about for its vibrant silhouettes infused with nostalgia, a heartfelt tribute to Gianni Versace’s legacy. We have therefore curated a selection of Versace pieces that could very well have inspired the designer for his next collection.
